48 Hour Air Pollution Forecasts for Delhi

The “Clean Air for Delhi 2010 and Beyond” program is an advanced notification system for daily air quality in the National Capital Region of Delhi, developed through technical assistance supported by the French Government. The program, started during the 2010 Commonwealth Games, is implemented by two French firms, Aria Technologies and Léosphère, in collaboration with (and for) the Central Pollution Control Board, New Delhi, India. It is designed to provide pollution alerts to the public and the media with the aim of minimizing future instances of higher health impacts. See the Press Release in October, 2010.
