So, in theory, every body from the planners to the practitioners are in tune with the benefits of having more support for the public transport. The problem lies with the actual promotion - from the supply of the buses (limited manufacturing in India, where the demand is for the personal vehicles) and a lack of aggressive push from the city administrators. On averages, most of the cities in India, can use at least 3-4 times the current bus fleets for healthy operations. So, where are the buses?Sarath Guttikundahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13529753960585200692noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2719517140437084102.post-81495679001519502012012-05-11T12:17:53.649+05:302012-05-11T12:17:53.649+05:30As everyone know there are only measures that can ...As everyone know there are only measures that can minimize air pollution. It can never be removed from ecosystem. So for that sake i was thinking and one idea came up to my mind and that is what if more people start travelling by buses like if people who are travelling by cars start commuting by buses, there will be less number of cars on road and thus decreased air pollution.Anshulnoreply@blogger.com
